SVP & Chief Human Resources Officer

Kim Martin joined Alcon is April 2020 and serves as Senior Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer. In her most recent position, Kim served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Worldpay, Inc., which was subsequently acquired by FIS, a global technology bill payment company processing over 40 billion transactions through more than 300 payment types across 146 countries and 126 currencies. In her position at Worldpay, Inc., she led a global human resources and corporate communications organization responsible for talent development and management, employee relations, culture and engagement, compensation and benefits, payroll and human resources information systems, talent acquisition, and external and internal communications. Kim’s contributions helped Worldpay, Inc. grow enterprise value from approximately $2 billion to $43 billion and achieve Best Place to Work awards.

Before joining Worldpay, Inc., Kim was the Senior Vice President, Americas Human Resources and Corporate Functions at Zimmer Holdings, Inc., a leader in orthopedic implants, and prior to Zimmer, Kim was Executive Human Resources Leader, Monitoring Solutions & Diagnostic Cardiology at General Electric Healthcare. She also held positions of increasing responsibility in human resources at GE Healthcare from 1999 until 2010.

Kim holds a Master of Arts degree in Labor and Industrial Relations and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communications, both from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.
